You know, all those exquisite moments we shared, that were together ours,
like a beautiful collage of wonderment after destiny’s fireworks
Does serendipity last? I had an impromptu vision in the avuncularity
Yet, how abridged is the version, now, amid the eternity?
We honour even the stonewalls that keep us apart
That’s how flawless and peerless we are!
I think that accidents and fortune are both an inenarrability that we have to accommodate
Even if I did believe that nurturing love would make it altogether mine!
Yet, I believe in the foundation that you set for me! Do you believe that I set the same for you?
If I could call out to the universe to bring you here for me, could I call out once again to ask for you to be definitely eternally mine?
I never write dystopian poetry, even if heaven or fate is no Utopia?
I believe there is a Paradise we can stretch out to, despite our limits, if we perceive the philosophically stoical innards of our souls
And that is the haloed ground we should adore like Holy Jerusalem in our Levantine religiosity
Do we credit the lectern of our souls for possessing the lexis of the Universe?
Even in our diminution; you know and can see the libel I have been charged with
Does such (our) sublime grand amorism, then, deserve amortisation or denial from them?
We don’t live once, like those ugly insects with pretentious angel wings (of the Church) believe!
You and me, we didn’t preach from the pulpits, we suffered undeserved indignity
even though we are impresarios of the grand theatre; but the actors are simply blind to acknowledge
The ignorant folk beset by evil’s manipulation don’t know they should be offering us latria for eternity!
