You know, I remember my elder brother,
He was handsome as he was muscular strong!
Only he died at the rather tender age of forty-nine
But when he lived everyone seemed to admire him
And me, I was sidestepped and snubbed by all for my righteousness!
My elder brother was a real gifted party man
He was a crowd pleaser, and the life of every gig!
And so full of jocularity, he made everyone laugh like a child on a swing
I just was a silent onlooker, as if it was not my thing!
And me, everyone thought I was a misfit and deserved to be cold-shouldered!
But that was what I got for my righteousness!
Yet, I knew it all from even before Biblical times
I know I deserved all the ambrosia (that was stolen from me), yet I imbibed of the bitterest limes!
But now I call on you my elder brother, Jesus (Sellwyn), and ask of you what you owe to me
And ask of you, to salvage that righteousness that they all are trying to take away from me!!!
I did my duty to all at all times, now you, dear elder brother, do your duty to me!
Would you think it would be your loss, if you chose to take up the fight for me?!!
