The girl with the Grail (part two): A poem

Can I take the fire out of love?

Can I take the light out of the above?

I am dancing, but there’s darkness in the backdrop

And I am swaying without any prop

Does it mean we can take the din out of sin?

Can we be the yang and the yin?

I just am tired of standing up after being broken

But I can do it again and again for you, if that’s a token

Mirror, mirror on the wall, where did I fall?

O! Into the rabbit hole, that’s a close call!

I am just a hare without a whisker of a hair

But I want to take you inside my courageous lair!

And there’s father bear and mother bear, too, let’s dare!

Love has many sides to it, we just happened to be there

Can you tell by the amulets I wear?

They are all devoted to you, and that’s beyond compare!

Mother, can you spin me in your arms, so I am strong, gifted and rare?

Dad, can you make me brave to every daunting stare?

Lancelot is not going to nowhere

She’s standing with a Grail in a vision like thin air!

So am I still lonesome, or do I have some that care?!
