There is no brevity about bravery!: A poem

There is a mist swirling around me, so I cannot see…

And yet this opacity is a mere truncheon to deceit;

for, a lie is the mightiest weapon against a liar, if

you please. I have temporised it all through time, like

a lost army, recuperating against a would be deafening

fusillade. I see my armies cascade against a whammy(!)

or crescendo in a windfall(?), but I haven’t touched

the spoils on the table, what with them being dished out

by the legerdemain. I will only have my possessions,

when free of the intoxification. For spiritual inebriation

is like taking hemlock over and over again to avoid the

poisonous trangressors of justice. See, the phantom

wants you to see, so much as you call him a monster,

the music behind the mayhem, that his mask will finally

fall off when the misleading masquerade is done with,

that till then he will be amorphous in melancholia! He wants

you to know that Justice is a wisdom hidden in darkness, and

treachery is far too much wallowing in light. The ugliness that you

all perceive in him is the bitter appetiser for you all to discover

ultimate true beauty! Suffering is not the criminal, but false revelry is!

I know my constant shattering made me the alchemical

purity that lies in gold becoming transmuted to soul! If

you all should take off your misbegotten vestments to

realise that you have accused the one who went through so much

pain for you all; and how hastily you all bring him condemnation or

how hurriedly you all want to hurl him into a suicidal compromise! Till then,

you proceed to make saints out of sinners! Never mind! God’s

patience is prudence! I am not going to bely my own judgement!

You will notice that If change through purgation does not come,

you will all be accursed and damned! But God does not wish to untie the

Herculean knot, or abandon his Herculean task; even if the

disparagers get the upper hand and turn the Darling into Delilah!

She must see for herself; in fact, you must all(!), that mendacity has been

the media of the world for far too long, and virtue has been laid to waste by

hijacking villains. But God knows that there is no brevity about bravery!

If it be an eternal struggle, so be it! The gauntlet is always flung after every interval!
