I thought it only was a poem!
But it turned out to be a lifetime!
I had no business with reason or rhyme
But poor me, presumptuous me(!)
Ever since I read the first line
I thought I knew the story
So, how come there was no glory?
Then the mood changed
Until I got to the middle; and discovered love
Discovering love is easier than finding love
Is it in the meaning, the reading between the lines?!
It got tougher still with all the needing
Only my mind needs abstract feeding!
Your life always involves the weeding
And, as you grow older, you could get bolder
But are you such an able soldier?
And can you ever learn to hold her?
I never got to the end
Because as I got into the depth of the poem
I knew there never was an end
Only a place around the bend!
