There were these evil strangers in my room!: A poem

(The evil ones who ought to be banished!)

There were these evil strangers in my room

And they began demanding all too soon

for all my silver, and golden spoons

I told them aptly to find their way to the Moon!

No, I’m not just brave, I am also very bold

So, I said see how the story unfolds

Your short-term victories are not the end-game goals

I have eternity, and it isn’t very cold!

They cannot ever get my point

As they continue to daunt (me)

I’m just laughing at their haunt

For, I barely flung the gaunt(let)

You know they were picking the dragons’ pockets

I just exercised restraint; I could have put all of them in the `lock’ets

So that their lecherous eyes would pop out of their sockets

But, there are various other ways to walk the way you talk it!

And for all their vile Operation Castrating

My scrawl is an endless writing

I know what I am going, in the end, to bring

If it isn’t every one of my Kings!
