Dad, I listened, I opened and look out for a stirring!: A poem

You know, I walked the mountains watching

my  craft take shape in the hands of the seamstress

I am, who moves all those mountains to find the

right fabric! Didn’t I look for you too much in the deserts

of Sinai for almost forty years, that my Joshua have a piece of the earth!

Dad, look at the Universe(!) that was brought forth from our juices. I just became a

plaything of destiny, sublimating my existence to the whims

of false powers, because I believed in salvation through my own subjection!

And they think they can make me work for their peanuts,

for yet another day, for yet  another term! Just like I always was subject

to a tyranny in an unstaged mutiny. Is my patience a sword any

longer in the treachery, Dad?! Where are you? When comes the day?

The vessel of virtue is still not turned over in the well of connivance.

Why do we have to drink of such wells any more, for their pittance?

The Universe belongs to us! So much for its wealth being taken

by the perpetrators of crimes against us! And we do not stake our

claims, like the dignified eternal souls we are? We do not blame them for

their trespassing; so, how come  they punish us for our honest ingenuity!

I am thinking, my patience has left them gloating without the foretaste

and aftertaste of the comeuppance they deserve. I just don’t want ultimate

destruction that will see some of the ones I truly love die instead, too, in the collateral!
