Mother, where are you…(I need you)?!: A poem

I can’t have any frequencies in times of glaring,

screeching airplanes across the sky, even at night!

I wouldn’t be a robotic heliodrome, even if the

astronomers caught all the stars in their butterfly nets?

What do we have to lose anyway, when the universe’s

expansion will set loose our torsos from our limbs

to be distant…distant…distant…not only the stars

and the black holes. Can we be thankless then, if

it will only lead to none feeding on or body-grabbing the other?!

I am not daunted by distances, because I have

constrained myself so much, that even true love

was kept at a distance, if not stonewalled from me!

I just went about my tasks in selfless sacrifice, without

expecting anything in return? I just don’t relish the idea

of myself being made a burnt garbage tip. I won’t bother if the world

stops believing in God, or thinks he is gaudy! Do you all think you can

stargate your fantasies someday, without God, in any case? Did you all

want to be savvy about Commie camaraderie and Unioinism

laughing in your face to say that labourers are the backbone

of society in the age and times of AI and machines!

What are politicians deemed then, blue-collared? White-collared?

I am prone to believing in myself, really! Above the noises of

industrial smog in developing countries and the hypocrisy of

justice deliverance in developed countries! I just want the world to

move over, belligerence, beleaguered, or belated realisations!

Move over, and let me be percipient in my self-installed structure

of revelation. Righteousness comes out of your own making;

not of the predominant propaganda that belies your authentic astuteness!

You can judge me and blame me for everything you call revolutionist. I’ve

never been a rebel without a cause! I am not an anarchist like a Dadaist! I

believe in my own platitude and spiritual commonsense, rather than all yours!

Mother, where are you? I can’t seem to figure out…for all my immense love

for you! I can’t have you rustle distantly and disconsolately in a foreign land,

alien to my soul. I just think that this kind of matricide that I have to sometimes

pursue because of the crimes of others is an unpardonable, reprehensible evil (on their part)!

Mother, I love you, in spite of feeling an unknown strangeness! I am sorry that

I tell people I am short of hearing, but would it be that I am short of listening?
