To love:
For you, I was made of stardust and solar flare
Of everything that is alive in the air
I just want to tell you, that it is mostly for you that I did dare!
You think, sometimes to betray the divine is fine! But remember, it is cold stony ware!
To Mother:
So silent is love; strong as the strongest steel
Mother happens to bless my every meal
And I am unrelenting and cautious, so I righteously feel
to be warned at the strike of twelve, at every misbegotten deal!
To Dad:
This love seems so far away, and life is not getting any longer
And in the evening of aspiration, absurdities seem like they are getting stronger
I look up to the skies and, in a dream, ask you a question
Are my vestments to be an empty cradle? Is there to be no return on toil and investment?
To one and all: What and Why?
This goes each vapour of inspiration in my sunlit eyes
And how can I assure you all where all your redemption lies
Do you all want to crossbreed with evil, so long, a prisoner am I?
Even my truest Kings, all seem to be so truth-and-justice-shy!
But who can blame them where justice is lame
And evil has the power to get the redeemer maimed
As well as all those he sought out, should they be named?
Am I turning the emery wheel, to both grind and polish? Is this going to be an epiphany or ordeal; What and Why I became?
May be, just maybe, the subtlety hides behind the obvious!
That we have diamonds hiding under God’s deceptive (but protective) floss!
