This is what I have to say about the world!: A poem

I saw a woman waiting for a bus,

she seemed so frail she could barely stand,

And she was tugging a laden bag with her.

Some people are strong willed enough to

carry their own burden like a saving grace!

We live in an age of social welfare, of handouts,

of medical subsidies, of meals on wheels, and you’d

like to believe that altruism is a virtue even if you only less

than  tithe and think this is what is making the World a better

place; that generosity is a haloed venture. How foolishly

we have not learnt the intrinsic lessons of

Karma and Dharma, the culture of the Universe

when it meanders into a nest of its own sustenance.

Love is a light only when you love the deserving,

And forgiveness is an atrophy when you forgive the undeserving!

Yes, we’d like to vouch for pansy leftist race-mixing,

Pacifist vocation, melding of nations, egalitarianism…

Why the bullshit must pre-empt God’s paradise?!

God only created war because he wanted to prevent

evil from altogether taking over! He is sorry that only

suffering can save your souls; at least of the deserving!

So how would you believe in the false lights shining all over you

and call the brilliant rusticity of tribulation obsolete?!

Ease and convenience is all only your folly!

And do you imagine how they want to `Depo’se God,

with their hypocrisy of convincing the evil that they find

it more convenient, inviting and befitting of the world

rather than the righteousness of the self-sublimating ostiaryship

that the Almighty takes on, at the doors of his stolen temple!
