What the cumulative poetry of the animals said to Noah: A poem

Look at us! We can remember even your shining face

that was held circumspect by your Father; so much it shone

at your birth (!), your skin so effervescent that Lamech your doubting

father called on his father Methuselah for judgment, who then

corresponded with Enoch, his father. Did they all think you were

begotten of a shining one and your mother? The shining ones, who watched us

and created hybrids of us, and who stole and desecrated our Earth? Yes, the hybrids

were short-lived because they were all dying of cancers. Did you think

we thought you were humankind, just because Enoch did not want to

slight the alleged gods, and falsely swore that you were a child of Man and Woman?

Do you think we wanted to survive for a posterity where you would hunt us

down, domesticate us to feed on our fat or make us toil? How at the end of the

the Leonine age you massacred lions, at the end of the Capricornian age, you

killed goats to please a new-bound age? And were we just pawns in your soup,

like sexually abused children at the mercy of their violators?! Do you think we

thought it was salvation to be hardbound in a craft of planks, where we felt the throb of

the sluices of the earth open up for the seas to climb the mountains, and give freedom

to the fish to feed on every bloating piece of flesh on the drowned out land.

Noah, you know there are some out and up there, who’d rather feed on the flesh of humans

rather than our innocent blood. That is where the concept of human sacrifice to the so-called

gods stems from! And we were left for posterity to fear lightning and thunder every time in our historical

memories because of that fateful Deluge and you had little or no memory of it in posterity. And did we think the future

was presentable as you omnivored your illegitimate hybridisation and cut off our salvation-fending

Masonic migratory routes, so that we really were reduced to be in a quandary `wanting to be gone’ from

this yellow submarine forever, just like the dinos and the Neanderthals?!
