How to be free and obtain freedom, O Gulliver?!: A poem

Would I walk in the woods of the night  where I don’t know if the star-spangled sky  are yellow lights signaling me in or shunting   me out? If I had wisdom to perceive the ribaldry  of a destiny compelled by villains? But I am   not going to be contemptuous of the sky or the stars,  even if I am disgraced with overlying treachery! Continue reading “How to be free and obtain freedom, O Gulliver?!: A poem “

The rain; the clouds, the sun, the ideopraxist!: A poem

I think of rain. Its large pink drops from a grey-blue sky!  Those welcome drops drunk by the earth till it is full  and washes away the dust of the streets, like an anointing!  I am a child again in the seventies, when the sky broke  in too many places with thunder and lightning. We had no Continue reading “The rain; the clouds, the sun, the ideopraxist!: A poem “

Two evils beset us, O Mother (Aditi)!: A poem

Mother I am the first point that called on Aditi  You were sublime in your avatar of creating  the twelve Adityas. Did I imagine it would cause   me so much migraine, to negotiate between the  dimensions for eternity? I do not complain about  my suffering, Mother. But there are forces that   give me little option! So must I be the eddy that   createsContinue reading “Two evils beset us, O Mother (Aditi)!: A poem “

O Mother, you implicitly taught me to define love and forgiveness!: A poem

How many, Mother, would ever turn the other cheek,  when in the unChristianity of the Word being swung by the sword  and thrown out of the pulpits like a nausea/ vomit of lies  that people around the world cherish a book (NT)  that came from stolen foundations; their being stolen from their rightful owner!  Mother, despite your Christianity in this lifetime, you hadContinue reading “O Mother, you implicitly taught me to define love and forgiveness!: A poem “

Be still, when evil has a greater will!: A poem

I think of myself as a mythic superhero,  the Übermensch, only the term wasn’t coined then  back in the beginning – when all past, present  and future were one. My prescient self  didn’t realise then, it would all fall apart since;  And I would be spiraling down the ghettos of time  struggling to make it all one, back again;  hacking and hewing at the manyContinue reading “Be still, when evil has a greater will!: A poem “

Don’t just blindly judge; the overlying proof may not be the evidence!: A poem

There could have been askance, there could have  been speculation, there could have been circumspection…  But the personal functionality of a hero is in good faith  Like despite falling into an enclosure, I still thought  I had the key; there was hope in the captivity…  Like to be free is only a perception. For, if you have  a soul thatContinue reading “Don’t just blindly judge; the overlying proof may not be the evidence!: A poem “

You know sacrifice doesn’t entail forgiving of the very wicked!: A poem

I thought I heard the songs of revelation (not despicable Saint John’s)  Their beauty is a wisdom that few people begin to be aware of  Yet, I thought I knew of them, before they’re speaking  The burning bush speaks, but first makes symbolic presentations  For the memory of the recipient should undertake to decipher the silent wisdom!  DoContinue reading “You know sacrifice doesn’t entail forgiving of the very wicked!: A poem “

Ask the birds flying in the air…: A poem

You know those little birds,   peeking from the woodwork of the skies  Those versicoloured enigmatic Young Turks  Those Robin Hoods seeking justice  with their alleged profusion of injustices  How they began a cancel culture  to teach the vultures of culture what destiny is desirous of!?!  Mercury said: “We are the Champions, my friend!”  We’ll keep on fighting till the end!”  Is that true in untimely deaths! Continue reading “Ask the birds flying in the air…: A poem “

Mother, your sense of duty is part of my inheritance!: A poem

Mother, if you had a choice, what name   would you give me at birth? What would it be?  While you told me how I got my name: Monte –  from Mary of the Mount; you never told me  who decided on it – you or Dad or the priest  that christened me. I was born on the 8th of  September;Continue reading “Mother, your sense of duty is part of my inheritance!: A poem “

I am present in a past, and never absent from it!: A poem

I just think how the leaves can sustain  themselves in frosty weather? How does the  chlorophyll in their bloodstreams save them from  mildewing, unlike flotsam timber caught in the  slipstream of partly frozen rivers?! And I think,  there is no deep-freeze on the past! The landslide  brings it down the snow-covered mountains,  like hard soil unearthed again, not permafrost!  I am just divining theContinue reading “I am present in a past, and never absent from it!: A poem “
