On John Dunne, libertinism and idealism!: A poem 

(Can you blame one for the occasional stumble and take down all one’s idealism for it? 

You know my love has been transcendental, despite my failings of unmanifested lust to some others.  

You know I have always been loyal to that metempyschosised love! I know that is my inherent Godhood!) 

What do you call yourself, if you love 

an axiom like your most sought-after lover? 

Would that be immersing yourself in a 

French aubade without the physicality of it, 

whatsoever? Can metaphysics give your 

`will’ a sonorous tactile impetuousness? 

Is carnal love selfish craving? Can you be  

called metaphysical when you are endowed with John  

Donnesque libertinism? Appealing young men can go on a  

libidinous rampage; and can they be condoned 

for leaving a trail of broken hearts, then? Even John  

Donne was fined for some alleged illicitness; and  

he held his libertine views in spite of being a cleric! 

And despite sticking to his only love all his life! 

What is the righteousness of the punitiveness 

of justice? Is it legitimate to impeach a President 

for his fornication (Remember Monica Lewinsky?) Is there anything 

as pressing and inevitable to human nature as 

sexual attraction? Can a foolish impulsive action be  

made to look like a sin that deserves no clemency?  

And can paedophiles be condemned by view of their  

genetically miscoded attraction? Ask John Donne? Ask Oscar Wilde? 

Is the Ubermensch above sexual escapade? Ask Nietzsche? 

Ask the Church what it thinks is taboo? Is promiscuity of ideals 

more unpardonable than promiscuity with partners? Is it right 

to break exalted institutions with anarchy, nihilism, leftism, 

Socialism, Communism, UNism? Or is it a normal done 

human condition to seek monopoly through power, be it 

Communism or Capitalism, Totalianarism or Democracy?  

Was John Donne chauvinistic, misogynistic? Does too much  

romanticising of ideals lead to misanthropism? Is the Church  

disguising its libertinism, Leftism and Communism while  

propagating oneness with God (or False God)?!  

Is that what you call sylvanite symbiosis?
