Would I be called a heathen legion were I
to evangelicise the attributes of duty to justice
before the imperative of love. That we ought to
be embellished by truths rather than be of
nature seeking convenience and avoiding hardship.
If you believe in virtue, not in the slightest deign!…
Even if there is a cornucopia of the material available in
the fiefdom of the corrupt. The hardest thing
to do in the propaganda of falsehoods is to
believe in yourself. And ignorance can be a
folly, if intuition or instinct doesn’t then make all
the difference from evading spiritual pitfalls.
The fortune of undertaking a sacrifice is to be
endowed by a Phoenix’s spirit eternally. Intelligence
is not in being worldly-wise but in being self-aware! Yet,
dying in life, does not mean we can’t be evocative of little
beautiful moments to cherish. It depends on what one
explores as endearing. I am only a motion flowing
through the motivity of aspiration, if aspiration can
be abstract perfection rather than corporeal
reality. Do we forgive our enemies if we haven’t healed
from the wounds inflicted on us by them? A religion preaches
love and forgivance in the inimical historicity of its own crimes.
If everyone lives solely by convenience, aren’t we a civilisation of
hypocrites? Gemini is a symbol of love but it has two faces – the
face of love and the face of being cruel to be kind for love.
Forgiveness is only preached to the vulnerable from the pulpits
so that they subserve their dignity; why aren’t the powerful, then,
asked to be forgiving? Or is forgiveness then just a medium of convenient
matrimonial? And how come I have been so subject to the cruelty
of my detractors, when I committed no crime? Or was kindness no
part of their repertoire of duty? Who are the humble, merciful? And
who are the humble, contrite?, Do we forgive the ones who seek convenient
pardon when their time is up? And shouldn’t the victims of unjustified
abuse have the ultimate suffrage? So, let me direct the powers that be to
use the wonderment of justifiability in all their acts and deeds. We must all
do our duty, but forgiveness must not be made a compulsion, even in
humility. Clemency must be earned not granted. Even in its piquancy, let
this poem be an epiphany to all those ostentatious preachers who
never care to practice what they preach!!!!
